  • NINA SCHMID

WHAT IT TAKES TO CREATE REAL IMPACT AS A PERSON OR COMPANY

Over the past 12 years, Nina Schmid founded and led the Move Forward Foundation, developing community-based projects across five countries and working directly with thousands of teenagers. She grew up in a family where making a difference was part of everyday life, with a father working for the United Nations and a mother active in the peace movement. From an early age, she had the drive to contribute to positive change. With experience ranging from dance coach to leadership roles, she brings a grounded mix of hands on field experience and strategic insight to every talk.

In her sessions, Nina translates more than a decade of real world impact work into clear, practical insights. She shares what she has learned in the field about what truly creates lasting change and, just as importantly, what does not. From working closely with young people in diverse communities to building and developing international community projects, she offers honest, experience based lessons on how meaningful impact is created in practice, not just in theory.

Her talks bridge the gap between inspiration and action. Audiences leave with concrete tools and mindset shifts on how individuals, teams and organisations can create real social impact in a way that is sustainable, realistic and effective.

With her background in dance, Nina brings natural energy, presence and movement into her speaking. This makes her sessions refreshing, dynamic and memorable.

  • LESLEY MACAYA

THE SMALLEST ACTIONS CAN MAKE THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE AND CHANGE A LIFE

Lesley is a social entrepreneur, speaker and founder of several cultural and community driven organizations. His mission is simple: bringing people from different backgrounds and cultures together to create connection, opportunity and impact.

He grew up in the Spaarndammerbuurt in Amsterdam, a neighborhood affected at the time by crime and limited opportunities, Lesley grew up as a KOP child with a parent with mental health challenges. His childhood was marked by instability, uncertainty where he lived and a search for belonging. What shaped his life most were small human moments: a sports coach who truly saw him and a teacher who believed in him. Those experiences inspired him to do the same for the new generation.

Sports became his daily escape and brought him confidence. Football played a major role in his youth, both on the streets of Amsterdam and later in Curaçao. After a serious injury, he pursued a sports education. During this period, he developed besides football also a strong passion for kickboxing.

Driven by his own experiences, Lesley and a group of friends started a small community space in an old garage in Amsterdam. What began as a grassroots initiative evolved into a movement that empowered young people. Today, he leads an NGO focused on sports and mental health for teenagers.

In his talks, Lesley takes audiences on a personal journey through inequality, prejudice, resilience, identity and opportunity. Authentic, energetic and relatable, Lesley leaves audiences inspired to look differently at the people around them.

Dutch, English and Papiamento speaking. Available for international bookings.

  • SAMIRA EL IDRISSI

HOW I USED MY MINDSET AS A WORLD CHAMPION TO EMPOWER YOUNG GIRLS

After becoming a world champion Samira learned that true strength is not only built in victory, but in the discipline, resilience, and mindset developed along the way. As a former professional athlete, Samira spent years performing under pressure, pushing limits and discovering what it truly takes to succeed at the highest level.

But her greatest purpose began after the medals. Today, Samira dedicates her work to empowering young girls to develop mental strength, self-belief and resilience in a world that constantly challenges their confidence and identity.

Growing up with Arab roots in a deeply Dutch environment taught her early on how important authenticity, diversity and belonging truly are. These experiences shaped her perspective on leadership, personal growth and the courage it takes to stay true to yourself while navigating different worlds.

In her talk, Samira shares lessons from top sport and life beyond sports. Lessons about discipline, empowerment, protecting boundaries and leading with both strength and authenticity. Because real success is not only about what you achieve, but about who you become in the process and how you inspire others to rise with you.

    BUILDING THE FUTURE THROUGH DANCE

Mike Wamaya is a former professional dancer, cultural entrepreneur and founder of Project Elimu, a social initiative based in Nairobi’s Kibera settlement. Through his work, he has created safe spaces where children and young people can access education, creativity, and opportunity through the arts.

His life changed when he discovered dance, eventually training professionally and performing internationally across Europe. Despite opportunities to continue his career abroad, he made the life changing decision to return to Kenya, driven by a deep desire to give back to his community.

In Kibera, one of the largest settlements in Africa, Mike founded Project Elimu. What began as a small ballet initiative has grown into a wider platform offering dance, skateboarding, arts education, and personal development programs to hundreds of children. At its core is his belief that talent exists everywhere and that creativity can be a powerful tool for dignity, confidence, and change.

In his talks, Mike shares a deeply personal story of resilience and making impact. Through his journey as a dancer and changemaker, he challenges audiences to rethink education, opportunity, and what it truly means to create lasting impact in communities.
